Terms and Conditions

Welcome to The Press Club.  Please read the following carefully as by becoming a member of The Press Club you agree to the terms and conditions as set out by The Village Press.

 

GENERAL TERMS

You authorise The Village Press to automatically charge your credit card for your Press Club shipment, plus applicable shipping without any further or prior notice. By joining, you confirm you are a New Zealand resident.

You will receive a pre-shipment notification approximately two weeks prior to dispatch noting important dates and shipment details.

The credit card details provided by you will be used to debit the corresponding amount to your chosen club tier approximately ten days before dispatch of each shipment.

You understand that it is your responsibility to notify The Village Press of any changes to your membership including credit card details and delivery address prior to the billing date outlined in the pre-shipment notification. The Village Press will not be responsible for any misdirected oils.

Shipments will be sent in the following months: February, May, August, December.

You will only receive shipments in the months which correspond to your chosen club tier.

No substitutions can be made to the allocated selection for the shipment.

 

CANCELLATION

You understand you must receive a minimum of two deliveries prior to cancellation. Please cancel at least 30 days before the next shipment payment is due. Cancellation must be made by contacting us at pressclub@thevillagepress.co.nz.  Your membership is continual and cannot be cancelled unless The Village Press receives email confirmation from you and you receive a reply confirmation from The Village Press.

 

SECURITY AND PRIVACY

All payments are processed using Payment Express. This is an accredited secure online payment gateway provider.  The Village Press will not share your details of any kind with any other party.

 

DELIVERY

All goods are insured up until the point of delivery. All deliveries in New Zealand are by courier and direct to your door.  A street name and number is required. No deliveries are made to P.O. Box addresses. The Village Press cannot accept responsibility for delivery to unattended addresses.  There will be a reshipment fee for all returned shipments.

Advice regarding order shortages or damage in transit must be given to The Press Club team no later than three days after receipt of products. The Press Club team can be contacted by email at pressclub@thevillagepress.co.nz or telephone 06 879 8373.

 

RETURNS

The Village Press cannot accept returns except in the unlikely case of a faulty product.

 

SPECIAL OFFERS AND PROMOTIONAL INFORMATION

On becoming a member of The Press Club you expressly consent to your inclusion in our direct marketing database. You have the right to ask us at any time to stop sending online communications and promotional offers to you.

 

TERMINATION

We reserve the right to terminate the membership of any member who provides false information, fails to provide information or who is involved in any way in manipulating or interfering with the operations of The Press Club.
